SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying & selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address & email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser & operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, events, new products and other relevant updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to us collecting this personal information & using it for this reason. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind at any point, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you at anytime, by clicking a specific opt out link in our emails or by contacting us at info@thephormery.com. You have the right under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) to see any personal information that we hold for you by making your request in writing & we will provide this information as soon as we can but in any event no later than 28 days from the date of your written request. You also have the right under GDPR to request that we amend any incorrect information that we hold by making your request in writing & we will update this information as soon as we can but in any event no later than 28 days from the date of your written request. Lastly you have the right under GDPR to request that we we remove any information that we hold on you by making a written request which we will action & confirm as soon as possible but in any event within 28 days of your written request. We may need to hold some limited information about you to comply with regulatory & legal reasons, this is particularly important where we have been requested to hold information by a legal agency or because you have been a customer & this information is required for accounting reasons.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

If we become aware that any of your personal information has been lawfully accessed we will let you know as soon as practically possible but in any event no later than 72 hours after this is discovered. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) & stored with encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all requirements & implement additional security checks generally accepted by industry standards.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes & clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it & under what circumstances, if any, we use &/or disclose it.
